Learning to live with Chronic lllness is not easy. Sometimes the diagnosis comes out of left field or it may be something you’ve suspected. The additional burden of making lifestyle changes can feel like you were only treading water and now have to tread water while holding onto a concrete block. It can be challenging.
What if there was a better way? I know you did not choose the path of Chronic lllness but it is here. Are there things you can do when you feel you have lost so much control?
I believe there are! We do have control knobs that we really can turn. It starts with us-our attitude, our ability to stay present and believe the best. Our ability to love ourselves and see ourselves past the diagnosis to who we really, really are is key. To believe that our better days are ahead (it took me a while to believe that, but I really do!). To choose to live with gratitude and intentionality are decisions we can make NOW.
Another area you have control is how you fuel your body. Are you giving it the best food so you can heal and have energy to live your life?
Are you moving and exercising to your benefit?
Sometimes, you just need someone to listen and really hear where you are. Sometimes, you need a place to fully process your feelings or the changes you are experiencing.
As your coach, I can help you decide and implement a plan to take action toward living in a way that serves you best. You are not created to be a victim but a victor!

Coming to terms with your new reality of Chronic lllness is no easy undertaking. You need a place to process at your pace with God’s help.
Learn to live life from a new perspective. Learn to ask new questions and adjust expectations. Where does God fit in life with Chronic lllness ? How has this changed my identity?
Where do I go from here? What are the changes I can make to benefit my health? Eating? Exercise? Where can I find the motivation to make the changes I need to make for life with Chronic lllness?
Setbacks are to be expected. How do you deal with them? Learn to tap into the perseverance that God so richly rewards. Leaning into a team of encouragers can be so beneficial when you are living with Chronic lllness
Everyone has stress. It is all about how we manage that stress. Science has proven how it can be so destructive to our health, especially for those living with Chronic lllness. Learn new ways to deal with stress.
The ongoing conversation we have in our heads can determine so much of the direction of our lives. Learn to reframe the challenges you face with Chronic lllness. Learn to take captive every thought.

God promises that He came that you may have life to the full! Do you see yourself the way God sees you? He calls you “His masterpiece”. God has a grand plan for your life. You matter and God has work for you to do.
